Welcome to Studio A.

Where it all begins! As you first enter our control room you’ll realize right away this place was designed to be creative. Studio A features: 80 input Amek Einstein recording console w/ Super True Automation. Protools 24 mix plus w/additional DSP farm cards, every plug-in from Auto-tune to Waves Gold, 2- 24 bit 888 I/O, 2-882 I/O giving you unlimited tracking ability with 32 faders/EQ’s calibrated to the board. We offer 3 choices of reference monitors for you to listen to your mix: tri-amped Genelec S-30, KS Digital ADM 4 w/ Subwoofer and Yamaha NS-10’s. When it comes to preamps and compressors we provide some of the industries finest Amek, Neve, Focusrite, DBX, Summit, Uire and we’re always adding new/vintage gear to our arsenal. As for outboard gear we have several units by Lexicon, T.C Electronics, Eventide, etc. Studio 420 only uses Macintosh computers w/ Storecase removable hard drives and Oxford chip equipped Fire Wire drives. We still have 32 tacks of A-DATS available for transferring your older projects or to record a “live” on location recording with our 24 channel 8 bus Mackie console. Experience The 420 Difference!

Studio 420’s Live Room continues with the creative vibe from the hardwood floors, mahogany woodwork to the floated cedar drum riser. To keep those creative juices flowing we offer: a beautiful Kaiwi grand piano, vintage 55’Hammond B-3 organ w/122H Leslie, DW drums, Premier drums, DDRUM 3 sound module w/triggers and a variety of snare drums and cymbals.

Here at studio 420 it’s about creativity and choices. Record your vocals in our acoustically designed isolation booth, track electric guitars in our beautiful performance room or create your own unique sound in one of the many spaces we have available. When it comes to microphones we have several first class mic’s to choose from. We have: Nuemann U67, U87, KM84, KM100. AKG 414‘s, 451, D12. CAD E-350’s, E-300 to name a few along with several models by Shure, Sennhiser, Rode, ect.
